course.alt.type_seminar  Counselling students and supporting their learning process

  Beschreibung   Termine   Zurück
Counselling situations can be a demanding task in everyday university life. The teachers have to respond to the individual's concerns of the students within a limited time frame, taking into account that your main goal should be to support students learning processes. In addition, you are confronted with mutual, sometimes conflicting expectations that have to be balanced. In this workshop, you will learn how to design and implement counselling situations in a goal-oriented and efficient manner. On the basis of practical exercises and simulations, suitable action strategies for the individual consulting context are developed.
Taking part only makes sense if you are already teaching and/or if you are willing to contribute real life examples of counselling students (e.g. situations you are afraid of, experienced as a student – best or worst practice).
