- Mit diesem diskursiven Format möchten wir Ihnen einmal im Quartal eine Plattform bieten, um über innovative Lehr- Lernformate zu diskutieren. Erfahrene Dozent*innen der Universität Heidelberger stellen Good-Practice Projekte ihrer eigenen Lehre vor und diskutieren gemeinsam mit den Anwesenden Einsatz- und Implementierungsmöglichkeiten in anderen Fächern.
- Für den nächsten Termin am 29.03.2023 haben wir Dr. Michael J. Winckler gewinnen können, der über das Projekt „Mathematics for the Real World: the Integrative Think Tank (ITT) of the IWR / HGS MathComp as example for a challenged based teaching project“ sprechen wird. Michael J. Winckler ist geschäftsführender Direktor des Interdisciplinary Center for Scientific Computing (IWR) der Universität Heidelberg und Koordinator des Flagship 3 “Data – Models – Transformations” der europäischen Hochschulallianz 4EU+.
- In 2022 the Interdisciplinary Centre for Scientific Computing (IWR), together with the graduate school HGS MathComp have developed and tried out a special format of challenge-based teaching format, the Integrated Think Tank. The Integrated Think Tank is a one-week challenge oriented workshop with industrial partners (SAP and Volume Graphics). Students and lecturers worked together with experts from the companies to investigate topics from the area of research and development relating to current developments at these companies. The goal of the event is to formulate actual research topics as thesis projects outlines (master or PhD). After the event, the University and the partner companies join forces to convert the project outlines into actual research projects.
- Teilnehmende des Zertifikatsprogramms können bei Teilnahme von 3 Gesprächsabenden und einer zusätzlichen schriftlichen Reflexion dies auf das Zertifikat im Umfang von 8 AE anrechnen lassen. Ansprechpartnerin: Stefanie Maria Lorenz
